Peter McPherson B.Com, CA

Peter started with Footes in 1982 as "the boy"! In 1985 Peter gained his qualification as a Chartered Accountant with the NZ Institute, and has since become a partner within the firm.  Peter has a broad base of knowledge in both commercial and rural sectors.  His friendly manner and accounting knowledge allows him to meet client requirements with ease.

Peter stepped down as Partner in 2025, but is continuing to provide great service his to clients at Footes as a part-time Consultant.

Peter is married to Helen with four children and five grandchildren. Outside of work Peter enjoys following all New Zealand sports especially with a few drinks!
